Land and Plants

Saba is on the search for land. Specifically, we’re looking for a sunny southern-facing hillside on at least ten acres. We went by and saw this beautiful lot located in Orange, NH. It’s on twelve and a half acres, it’s got lots of great enormous boulders, and since it’s been partially logged in the past few years, it’s a perfect place to illustrate the regenerative power of permaculture.

As part of Saba’s commitment to biological diversity, we aim to catalog and identify the plant species already growing, (on whatever property we finally decide on,) and intend to responsibly double the number of different species within two years of acquiring the land. Soon, you’ll be able to chart our progress on the website; we’re starting a “wholly permaculture bible” as I type.
